Can I install GenomeBrowse on a server? If so, do all users need their own log-in and can we still share a project so we can see what others are working on?

Project management was added to GenomeBrowse in version 1.0.4. This allows users to save and open projects across multiple user accounts. Also added was the ability to open multiple projects in multiple windows.

Please update to the most recent version of GenomeBrowse to access all available features. To update GenomeBrowse please download the installer from our website.

Yes GenomeBrowse can be installed on a server. Each user will need there own login account and would receive their own default project upon registration. GenomeBrowse does not currently support shared projects across multiple user accounts.
