IDF format is a Golden Helix file format used to store genomic data for use in SVS or GenomeBrowse.

If your data comes in a different format other than BAM or IDF we encourage you to take a look at our analytic software package SVS as a companion to GenomeBrowse. SVS can import a wide variety of data types that can then be converted to annotation tracks and those are automatically detected by GenomeBrowse and ready to plot.
