There is another post about 5 questions down from this one in the list labelled "HG19 genome" that references the mitochondrial genome in the 1000 genomes version. We are using that build and have no problems with visualizing the mitochondrial region of the BAM file (Samtools output shows chrM as chromosome for our files, if that is helpful) |
| 2013-03-06 14:02:18 -0600 | asked a question | New rat genome annotation HI, we are currently analyzing RNAseq data mapped to the recently released rat genome (build 5.1, released in July of 2012). The current annotation for the rat within the browser doesn't work with our data. Are there plans in the near future to release an updated rat annotation? |
