GRCh38/Hg38 assembly

Hi - can I use GB/SVS with my data (bams/vcfs) aligned to GRCh38/Hg38?

Hi Kim,

We have made the GRCh38 human build available in both GenomeBrowse and SVS. If you select the genome assembly drop-down at the top of the GenomeBrowse window and scroll to the Human assemblies you should see the four human assemblies that we currently have available.

The GRCh38 assembly was created from the data available directly from NCBI so should match up to the hg38 data that is available from UCSC. If you are getting an error message or your data is not correctly loading please let me know and we can look into the issue.
