Do you have a search feature?
Yes, many tracks can be set "searchable" using the context menu. Any tracks which are set as "searchable" will be searched when you type text into the genomic location box in the zoom toolbar. Results will be available in the drop-down list. Note that this is considered a "quick" search navigation. Not all results are displayed and there are no advanced parameters available. More impressive search functionality may be available in future releases.
Questions should be tagged FeatureRequest for asking about a non-existing feature or proposing a new idea, GeneralInquiry for general questions about GenomeBrowse or directions on how to do something, or RanIntoProblem if you want to report an issue or had difficulty getting to an expected result.
