Is it possible to have a more up todate version of the drosophila melanogaster genome annotation? FlyBase has the most upto date version.

Thank you for your request.
We are currently in the process of updating all of our available annotation sources to the most recent releases for that genome as well as adding addition supported species to our list.
We will be putting out an update release of GenomeBrowse (version 2.0) in mid-March, once you have upgraded to the newest version you will have access to the updated annotation sources.
