I am sorry you are having issues loading your files into GenomeBrowse.

Error code 18 is reported when GenomeBrowse is unable to recognize and/or find a current reference sequence for the build associated with the BAM file.

We have seen this particular error occur because of genome build incompatibility. Does your BAM file contain human data? If so what reference sequence was used to sequence your files? The available reference sequence for human build hg19 in GenomeBrowse was created from data provided by UCSC if CASAVA uses a different source, for example 1000 Genome data, that could be the issue.
